Mapping an integrated HHS

program eligibility platform.

Accomplishing the goal of creating a single scalable architecture that could be used across different states was no easy feat.  It required a comprehensive map of the information needed, and the process to apply for key social programs.

Enabling access to aid,

for those who need it most.

Accessibility was baked in, not just from a design perspective, but from a language and messaging perspective.  Explaining what these programs are and what they mean using simple terminology anyone can understand—realizing that as a tool, everything has to be more than just responsive because those with the greatest need often have the least.
